This is the operating model behind Pups and Prayers and Pastries and Prayers. Both put real goods into people's hands, so both need a model that keeps us honest about what came in and where it went. We are not building an institution that must be fed — we are a set of hands that moves what God provides into the hands of the people who need it.
The chaplaincy itself runs differently. An appointment is a cup of coffee, a shared meal, or a day working an outreach event — it costs nothing and needs no supply chain, so nothing on this page describes it.

Stewardship is the guiding principle of everything we do — of time, of space, of money, and of everything else He has provided.

We meet needs, not wants.
Everything we steward goes to a real, practical need — food, water, hygiene, care for a pet — never to a want or a preference.

We will not build a large storehouse.
Our warehouse is a waypoint, not a destination.

We will not store things.
Goods that sit on a shelf are not serving anyone.

We will not hold stewarded goods past 30 days.
If an item hasn't moved in a month, it moves — to a partner, to a neighbor, wherever it can serve.

We operate in full transparency. All incoming and outgoing goods are tracked on a monthly basis and are available for review by any volunteer, partner, or contributor upon request.
If you served with us, you are entitled to see exactly what came in and where it went.
